It’s time for one of my very favorite blog series… 10 Pins!! This marks my fifth month sharing Pinterest inspiration that feels most inspiring to me. Click through to see what I dug up and why I liked each image. Spoiler alert- there was a LOT of great interior design images floating around in the past month. I probably could’ve turned this into “20 Pins”, but I’ll save you some time and narrow it down.

#1 // Modern Meets Traditional Fireplace Vignette

First up, this beautiful modern meets traditional fireplace vignette. There are so many timeless design elements packed into this one- the floor tile, the millwork, the brass fireplace surround, and the plaster walls. For every traditional item, there is a contrasting modern element: the lighting, the unique take on herringbone hardwood floors, and the velvet sofa shape. It’s really a beautiful balance!

#2 // Bright and Airy Bedroom

This bright bedroom felt right to kick off the new year. It feels so clean, fresh, comforting, and soft. I love the shiplap ceiling, the whitewashed beams, and the sheer drapery panels that hang from the canopy bed.

#3 // Lodge Bath

If I were to have a mountain cabin, this is the vibe I think I’d want! Color, texture, pattern, and lots of antiques & art sprinkled throughout. This look could certainly be achieved on a budget, but you’d never know it.

#4 // Monochromatic Gray Living Room

This gray living room is anything but boring. Check out the crown moulding and ceiling millwork… WOW! I’m also swooning over the marble fireplace and super wide floor planks. I love that the designer used modern furniture to offset some of the rustic elements. The houndstooth slipper chair feels so right in this room.

#5 // Chic Hotel

Now this is a chic hotel I’d want to stay at! Please sign me up for a room- although, I may never return home. There are so many things to love: the panel moulding, the color of the area rug, the dramatic drapery, the modern chandelier, the console table, the floor mirror… I could go on and on. Can we also talk about the wall color? This is exactly what I had envisioned when I added “Hazelwood” to my 2020 paint color predictions. Perfection!

#6 // Modern Dining Room

This beautiful modern dining room uses natural materials (soapstone, wood, and leather) in the most perfect way. The architecture in this room also has me smitten. The mother daughter Stoffer team can do no wrong! Jean & Grace…. you two are design geniuses.

#7 // Bright Built-In Bathroom

I stumbled across Elizabeth’s portfolio last week and there is no turning back. I probably spent an hour on her website in complete awe! I love this bright bathroom that feels very “built-in”. From the custom vanity shape, to the built-in shelving and recessed mirrors, there are so many tiny details in here that work perfectly together… and I’m a details person.

#8 // Mod Living Room

This modern French living room isn’t my normal cup of tea, but I’ll tell you why I like it… the pinstriped chairs (I WANT THEM SO BAD!!), the crown moulding and wainscoting, and the modern lamp. It’s a weird room in the best way. Did you see the statues on the shelf? Weird, but cool? I can’t decide. It made me look twice, so that’s something.

#9 // Serene Soaking Tub

When it comes time to renovate our master bathroom, this is the bathtub shape I want. It’s curvy, feminine, and I could only dream of soaking in this serene tub. I’m digging the black framed windows, the elegant drapery, and the fact that there is enough space for a cute little chair in this beautiful bathroom. Goals!

#10 // Modern Natural Wood Closet

Last but not least, this closet by Kathy Ireland is insanely stunning! I love the tri-fold mirror, the natural wood built-ins for a crazy shoe collection, the bulky hardware, and the modern leather ottoman that centers the space. It’s a room that plays with a variety of shapes (oh hey, round pendant light!) in such a fun way.

That’s it for this month! Tell me your favorites in the comment section below. I really enjoy putting these posts together. Sharing inspiration has quickly become one of my new favorite blog hobbies. I hope you’re still liking them. Until next month…

  1. What a varied round-up of images! I notice that the kitchen and one bathroom have those side niches; I think I like them…that kitchen about made me faint. Loved the whole house in Australia (😢). Collecting all those quirky portraits must have been a fun job! Even my color-loving heart is drawn to that gray living room; the marble fireplace and that houndstooth chair! Haha. I scrolled to the mod living room and went…hmmm this doesn’t seem like Sarah, but I LOVE the pinstriped chairs! The statues are a hard “no” for me though. That hotel room is exactly how I pictured “hazel wood”, and I dig it. That tub and those windows certainly beckon. Your current home will be your first master bath, right? I hope you are dreaming up an ablutionary extravaganza! Definitely still loving these posts! Not only do I enjoy the specific pics and your thoughts, but the links always lead me on a lovely journey. So, thanks as always for the inspiration on this wintry Thursday.💖

    1. I know. The fires in Australia have been breaking my heart. Seeing all of the animals displaced from their homes. Ugh. So terrible! You know me too well- the pinstriped chairs were my sole reason for including that image. You solidified the statues for me though- they are pretty weird (in a bad way, I think). Indeed- our current home is our first master bath. It feels like such a luxury having a bathroom connected to our bedroom. So crazy! I haven’t even started designing that yet though, because who knows when or how we’ll tackle that space. It needs a LOT of help.

  2. I’ve been gone and could not wait to jump back on and catch up!
I love your Pinterest Inspiration posts! That bathtub…I died! I am a huge bath soaker! Like put a show on; watch in tub till I shrivel up! Ha! YES to a chair, couch in the bathroom too!
The cabinet color on the kitchen in first photo is one I really want in our kitchen now or in the near future. Lastly, I am really liking canopy beds but without drapes, fabric. I think they are a statement piece.

    1. Woohoo!!! Welcome back Danna :) I’m also a big fan of soaking in the bath. It solves a lot of problems and helps me unwind. Why have I not thought to watch a show in the tub? Genius! Haha!

  3. I am inspired by all of these images! The ceiling details… ahh… my 1962 California ranch has popcorn ceiling,so I can only dream about classic details like those.

The one image I pinned is the lodge bathroom, but as inspiration for my future kitchen renovation. I love those floor tiles with the green cabinets! I’m not sure if it will go with the style of our house, but I love it.

    Another great post!

    1. I dream about those details too, Jennifer. We have orange peel textured ceilings in most of our home and we’ve slowly been removing it as we renovate. What a chore! That lodge bathroom is perfection.

  4. I really like these pin posts. I pinned the lodge bath. Still really love that tone of green. And that bath is just gorgeous with the windows!

    1. I love hearing that, Liz! I’m also digging the green tone. So pretty!
