22 Beautiful Coffee Table Books

There’s something about books I just can’t get enough of. I hoard them for décor purposes, but also because they’re fun to collect (and obviously educational, right?!). I can probably blame my obsession on my history in print design, either way- I’m always picking up interesting reads with character.

Favorite Coffee Table Books

Here are 22 beautiful coffee table books that I’d love to add to my collection (a few I might already own).

I style my home with books for a variety of reasons. They add depth, interest, color, texture, and I actually do enjoy reading them from time to time. They end up on shelves, side tables, tucked away in a nightstand, or sometimes in neatly stacked pile. Favorite Artistic Coffee Table Books 01: Allegra Hicks: An Eye for Design // 02: Paris Street Style // 03: The Monocle Guide to Cosy Homes // 04: The Modern Woman // 05: Trouvé // 06: Handcrafted Modern // 07: The Life and Death of Andy Warhol // 08: Wanderlust // 09: The Art of Creative Thinking // 10: Floribunda (because who doesn’t want an adult coloring book on their coffee table?!) // 11: Cabin Porn // 12: Lotte Jacobi // 13: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz // 14: Alexander McQueen // 15: Eames // 16: Interior Portraits // 17: Poolside with Slim Aarons // 18: New York // 19: Hot Dudes Reading // 20: California Homes // 21: Modern Art // 22: Beaches

Sometimes I choose a book solely based on the cover… the material it’s bound in, the typography on the front, or even the size and weight. There’s really no rhyme or reason to my selection process. New, used, or vintage- it really doesn’t matter. I do have a little pet peeve when it comes to books… I hate book covers, unless they’re super cool, I remove them right away. I have no idea why; it’s just something I’ve always done.

To sum things up, I wholeheartedly believe books make a space interesting. They describe a lot about the people inhabiting a home and their interests, plus they’re full of amazing content and beautiful imagery. What’s not to like about starting or adding to an existing book collection?

You should have a look at this gorgeous coffee table book, The Gardener’s Garden. I’m not a gardener but I want it simply because of the cover https://www.chapters.indigo.ca/en-ca/books/the-gardeners-garden/9780714867472-item.html?ikwid=the+gardener%27s+garden&ikwsec=Home&ikwidx=0
