Amazon Finds : Beds

Amazon Finds : Beds - roomfortuesday.comLately I’ve had beds on the brain because we’re getting a new mattress for our master bedroom later this month, and I’m also on the hunt for our last guest room bed frame. We have house guests on the calendar this summer and I figured I might as well finish shopping for sleeping arrangements. We basically have visitors year round and I’ve slowly been collecting furniture to fill the guest spaces. It’s tough and expensive to furnish an entire house, so I’ve been taking my sweet time. I’ve turned to Amazon in hopes of finding the last bed frame. Hey- I’ve gotta put that Prime shipping to good use. Click through to see what I’ve saved in this month’s Amazon Finds, if you’re also in the market for a new bed.

Amazon truly has everything! The giant retailer continues to blow my mind. I found beautiful options of every price point… low & high.

With so many gorgeous options, I’m having a tough time deciding. Now that we have a larger house, part of me wants to go big with a posted or canopy bed. I could never get rid of our beloved leather bed, but who knows- maybe it will become a guest bed and I’ll upgrade our master? Haha! Basically, I have no idea which one I’ll land on and where it will live. Do you have favorites? Help me out!

Amazon Finds : Beds - roomfortuesday.comWe basically picked our previous guest room up and moved it into another guest space at our new house, so that hasn’t changed. I’m itching to shake things up and pair the nightstands with a new bed. Those things have been around the block! They used to live in our master bedroom when we lived in Ohio. They’re another pair I’ll never part with.

Amazon Finds : Beds - roomfortuesday.comTypically I’m attracted to upholstered options because they feel cozy and a little more inviting to me, but the wood beds in the roundup are really persuading me to go a different direction. Do you prefer upholstered, metal, or wood, when it comes to your bed frame?

Amazon Finds : Beds - roomfortuesday.comWe had this wood bed, pictured above, at our first home in the guest room and I did enjoy the warmth it brought to the space. Decisions, decisions! Regardless of what I decide, hopefully this shopping roundup will be helpful for some of you in the same boat. Have a great day, friends!

  1. How fun (and expensive) to have so many different bedrooms to furnish and decorate. You can play musical nightstands! If we had the space, I think I would love to try a canopy bed. Even though they are very different, I actually like both in the round up. That seagrass one is nuts!! (But, obvs, for someone who has won the lottery?) I also really like the wood/upholstery combo options; they seem fresh somehow. That narrow, tall channel tufted one also has a unique vibe; I think that’s my favorite option. Too many choices- the modern curse! Happy hunting.

    1. It’s definitely fun! I see MANY room makeovers in my future. Haha! I know- I also loved both canopy beds… maybe I could DIY a version of the seagrass one.

  2. We usually go with wood or metal because we and many of our family have allergies– and fabric can sometimes trap those allergens when it can’t be washed regularly. But they are so pretty and cozy looking. I’m sure whatever you pick will be lovely as always :)

    1. Great point, Kate! I usually vacuum or lint roll the upholstered beds, but that’s still not as great as being able to wipe something down (unless it’s leather, of course).

  3. I’m so hesitant to buy a bed frame online because our biggest concern is sturdiness. How do you try to tell quality or durability from online listings?

    1. I typically look at the dimensions, materials, and reviews. I basically buy everything online these days to save time- even furniture! Sofas, beds, a mattress… you name it. That’s just the way the retail world works these days. I’ve actually had really good luck, and in the worst case scenario- there is usually a return policy to fall back on :)

  4. I say go for a canopy bed! I love the black one with the gray upholstery that you’ve linked to! I love the look of canopy beds, but have never lived in a space large enough.

    1. I’m leaning toward that one, I think :)
