Beauty Closet // Daily Routine Products

Best Daily Products for a Healthy GlowSummer is definitely hard on our skin… sunscreen, clogged pores, oil, and obviously too much sun exposure lead to damage. After struggling with acne and oily skin for most of my life (more on that in this post!), I try to take really good care of my skin. These are my favorite products that I can’t live without and use on a daily basis.

I could go on and on about my favorite products, because I’ve tried a lot…. but, here’s the thing- I’m really bad about following a routine that takes too long. No matter how great something is, if it’s going to take me more than five minutes to apply, you can forget about it. I’ve sort of cut and edited the products I don’t use regularly for this particular post. I’m usually all about to making the most of my time. Here’s what made the cut:

Best Daily Skincare Products01. Cetaphil Face Wipes // I use these everyday. They absorb oil and easily clean makeup off your skin. I find them handy after a workout, or if I’m running late. Rather than a full face wash, I’ll just use one of these… plus they’re super easy to throw in a bag or travel with (no leak packaging)!

02. Biologique Recherché Sunscreen // I’m serious about applying sunscreen every single morning. I’ve had to have suspicious moles and spots removed at the dermatologist and the last thing I want to do is to have something removed from my face! No thank you. Obviously sunscreen prevents premature aging and sunburn, so there’s that, too. This formula is non greasy, non smelly, and really smooth. It’s one of two sunscreens that doesn’t cause me to break out (this is the other one).

03: Luxe Facial Cashmere Brush Head // This is my little treat at the end of the day. Once during a facial, my aesthetician used one of these and it felt so amazing, I had to buy one. I think I like the sensation better than the actual function. If I’m going to cleanse my face before bed each night, I might as well get a nice, soft massage at the same time. I just apply a regular cleanser to the brush head and pretend I’m at the spa.

04: Foreo Luna // I really didn’t want to like this handy tool. My Clarisonic Mia and I were all set to live happily ever after, then the Foreo barged into my life. So now, I use the both of them to keep cleansing and scrubbing interesting. I’ll use the Foreo a couple times a week because it diminishes fine lines and wrinkles (preventative at this stage in my life). It’s a little more gentle than the Clarisonic, so if your skin is sensitive or feeling damaged, this is the perfect tool.

05: Plants Masque // This is what I call my miracle mask. It controls oil production, tones, evens, and purifies your skin. You can also use it on your scalp, but I have yet to try that. I use this a couple times each week. It’s a weird green formula that you brush on, allow it to sit for 30 minutes and rinse it off. Easy peasy! My skin is always glowing afterwards… game changer for certain!

06: Rosebud Salve // I use this balm on everything… my lips, my elbows, whatever is dry. I have one tin in my vanity, one in my bag, and one in my car.

07: HQRA+ // This is the only item on the list that must be prescribed by a dermatologist. I’ve struggled with dark spots and pigmentation issues since I was a teenager. This has been the only product that will put a dent in lightning my dark spots.

08: Sonicare Diamond Clean Toothbrush // I’ve been using an electric toothbrush since high school. I recently made the switch from Oral B to Sonicare a few years ago and I couldn’t even believe the difference. This is my all time favorite toothbrush (I’m OCD about cleaning my teeth). The design is really nice, even the travel charger and countertop charger are beautiful and well thought out. Unlike other eyesores appliances and chargers, I don’t mind leaving this one on the bathroom counter.

09: Eye Cream // Again, this is more of a preventive step for me against wrinkles and fine lines at this point in life, so I try to remember to use this eye cream as often as possible. I’ve seen it reverse aging on others though- pretty incredible stuff!

10: Eye Makeup Remover // I’m extremely picky about eye makeup remover. I want a product that is going to actually remove allllll of my mascara, without being greasy, goopy and getting in my eyes. Once I tried this solution, I was hooked. It’s pricey, but a little bit goes a long away and it’s not greasy at all! I actually went back to using Neutrogena, and one week in, I couldn’t do it. I’m officially spoiled from this stuff! I have a few of these stock piled.

The one product I forgot to include, but also use on a daily basis is this toner… it’s like magic in a bottle. I buy all of my Biologique Recherché products from a local shop, but I’m sure you can find them locally or online! What skincare products do you use every single day? Sometimes I get lazy and skip a bunch of steps, but for the most part- these are in my regular roundup at some point during the week. If you really want to treat yourself to a spa day, check out this post!
