I like a good bench. They’re versatile and small enough to fit pretty much anywhere- at the foot of a bed, in an entryway or office, pulled up to a kitchen table, or they can even stand alone in a dressing room. Since I’m gearing up to move and renovate once again, I’m parting with lots of furniture… I’m definitely going to miss the bench in my mudroom (it’s on Craigslist, local friends!), but I’m also excited to find a replacement of a completely different aesthetic next time around. I’m guest posting a gigantic roundup of benches of every style & price on the Interior Collective today – there are options for any aesthetic, budget, or function. Here’s a sneak peek:
I could totally envision any of the following chic benches in a posh bedroom situated at the foot of a bed or positioned to the side in a sitting area. I’m most attracted to option one- which is surprisingly affordable, as well as the last bench of the set. I’ve always loved odd shapes and that waterfall bench is no exception!

June 28, 2016 at 3:01 amYou’re moving?!?! And renovating again?!?! How exciting!! Are you going to do a post with all the details on the new digs? And I’m drawn to the more masculine benches too. I have a woven bench in my living room right now that I’m using as a coffee table. Im loving it.

June 28, 2016 at 12:34 pmYes and yes!! I’m so excited. And of course I’m going to post through the entire thing… we don’t have a new house yet, but we’ll be on the hunt later this month. I love woven benches, too! I bet the one in your living room looks gorgeous. xo
