Best of Etsy : Designer Throw Pillows

I know I just compiled a ‘Best of Etsy‘ post a few weeks ago, but I’m back with another. Two in one month! If you’re wondering why, I was on the hunt for a specific designer throw pillow and figured I’d share my Etsy search with you because I stumbled across so many good options. I’ve found that you can find designer throw pillows on Etsy for a fraction of the price. In fact, it’s my go-to resource for cushion covers constructed with designer material. I prefer to buy my own down inserts anyway, so it’s the perfect way to save money without sacrificing style. Click through to shop my finds…

Obviously not every throw pillow I own is made of designer fabric, but I do love supplementing a gorgeous statement pillow here and there! I’m a fan of pillows in general, so I scatter them throughout the entire home… on the sofa, on the bed, on a bench, etc. Basically any place I can add a pretty textile that makes the house feel cozy and inviting, consider me game!

From the above roundup, I’m considering ordering #7, #12, or #15. I already own #6- it’s a great basic cushion for layering! I’ve been using it for 3-4 years and am not tired of it yet.

I want our new house to feel more traditional, a little more funky, with LOT more color. Sign me up for the animal prints and bold cushion covers. From this one, I’m digging #1, #3, and #16.

Normally these designer pillows would cost anywhere from $160-$225ish in a store or on a designer e-commerce site. I’m all about saving money and inserts are inexpensive, so this is always the route I take- I figured I’d share it with you. Let me know if you have cushion questions in the comments below!

  1. Oh, Etsy. That place is a gold mine. Yes to all the animal prints and color. I’m really attracted to the copper pillow in the top round-up…I think I’ve been hanging around here too much.

    1. It really is! I can accidentally spend a lot of money on Etsy pretty quickly. Haha! I’m with you on the animal prints and color… maybe we’re rubbing off on each other? :)

  2. Do you have particular inserts that you prefer?

    1. I do!! Great question, Deborah. I like this wholesale company (but anyone can purchase from there)… the quality is great, they’re made in America, and the price can’t be beat! I’ve ordered from them time and time again. xox

Follow up question! Which filling do you prefer for pillows? My husband seems to destroy every couch pillow we’ve ever had! I don’t know how he does it. So I’ve been on the hunt for throw pillows that will retain their shape/can be reshaped after a grown man has squished it in ALL the ways a pillow can possibly be squished! Thanks!

        1. I always buy 100% down. They feel more luxurious (in my opinion) and hold their shape much better- as long as you fluff them from time to time. Hope this helps!

  3. Where is the top picture pillow (long, white with texture) from? Thanks!

    1. Unfortunately, that one has since been discontinued, but the designer fabric was from Groundworks. I wish I had a link for it because it’s gorgeous in person!

  4. Thank you for sharing these wonderful throw pillow designs!
