Currently Loving: Urban Outfitters Home

Hi guys! Jacqueline here. Sarah is busy busy busy with her guest bath renovation this week and I’m jumping in with a fun roundup today (she’ll be back tomorrow). Last week I shared some of the items I’m currently loving from H&M Home. If you missed that post be sure to go back and read, because there were SO many good, affordable things packed in. Today I’ve got another roundup filled with pieces I’m digging from Urban Outfitters. To be honest, I tend to overlook or forget about this resource. However, when I do remember to browse their home collection, it’s never disappointing. Similarly to H&M, their furniture and decor is affordable and looks much more expensive than it actually is. Style at an affordable price point is a win-win in my book! They recently launched six(!) new furniture lines and believe me when I say… you’re going to want to check them out. Click through to see what made my list!

01: roxy 6-drawer dresser // 02: brooklyn candle studio mimosa candle // 03: woven handle basket // 04: sita textured planter // 05: wyatt nightstand // 06: velvet throw pillow // 07: brass coffee clips // 08: cylinder glass sconce // 09: marte tall dresser // 10: nude art print // 11: grid ottoman // 12: hand ashtray // 13: elise cane arm chair // 14: UO home candle // 15: birdy metal table lamp // 16: gilded flower ashtray // 17: vintage ceramic jug // 18: room spray // 19: laurie woven rug // 20: chelsi rattan chair // 21: column glass // 22: chelsea double sconce // 23: ria nightstand // 24: aido stool

If I hadn’t already told you who was writing this post, I’m sure you could tell based on the color palette. Ha! What can I say… I’m just naturally attracted to neutral colors with tons of texture. Let’s just say there is a lot of texture happening in this roundup- warm woods, woven materials, natural fibers, etc. My absolute favorite item on this list is Number 13. It would be so charming styled with a desk, in a living room (as a set of 2) or even at the head of a dining table. I’m actually really tempted to swap my current desk chair for this one… that’s how much I adore it! I also think Number 1, Number 5, Number 11, Number 17 and Number 22 are super special.

Coming into spring, cane webbing and woven materials is a great way to add warm and depth to your home without using full-blown color (if you’re a neutrals fan, like me).

Is there anything specific that caught your eye from UO Home this time? I’d love to know if anyone else shops there for furniture or home decor. I know Sarah owns a few pieces that have sadly been discontinued. Have a great day, friends!

  1. Wow, these are beautiful and the prices are right! I love the texture level here- that nightstand table calls to me. All the less tropical looking caned stuff I’ve been seeing lately would work soooo well in my home but my husband loathes anything he calls “wicker” after growing up with dusty gross stuff. I’ve sneaked a few hyacinth baskets in and he pinned me down and specifically asked me to stop :_D

Thanks, Julie! That is such a funny story about your husband. I can definitely see people being turned off from cane as it resembles the ugly wicker we grew up with but it’s much more beautiful these days. Ha! Hopefully you can convince him to change his mind at some point.

  2. Hi, Jacqueline, I hope you are doing well. I love everything you selected; it’s an impressive curation. Thanks so much and cheers, Ardith
