Facebook Marketplace Finds : Salt Lake City

Facebook Marketplace Finds : Salt Lake City - roomfortuesday.comHappy Friday, friends! I’ve got a fun Facebook Marketplace Finds post lined up for you today- in my home city. I’ve been seeing so many yard sales, estate sales, and I’ve been able to dig up some surprisingly beautiful things here in my own neighborhood. It’s usually difficult to find the good stuff around here. I hope my local friends are able to take advantage of some of these and snag some beautiful things. Keep in mind (even if you’re not local), by saving my finds, it should help boost and hone your algorithm. That will result in serving you similar items in your area. You know the drill… click through! PS: I also have a big giveaway going on, and I included details at the bottom of this post. Keep an eye out.

Photo disclaimer… I pulled the following images directly from Facebook Marketplace, so the size and quality of some isn’t the best. Ready to see my finds?

Vintage Dining Set

Facebook Marketplace Finds : Salt Lake City - roomfortuesday.comThis vintage dining set is priced to sell at $80. The chairs are in great shape and I actually love the subtle striped upholstery. It looks like the dining table could use some polishing, but it’s a charming & classic set that fits the budget!

Think of the styling you could have fun with on top of this piece! So much room to play.

It’s currently listed at $400 and they keep dropping the price… I bet you could get it for less (or maybe I’ll give it a go).

Pair of Beds

Facebook Marketplace Finds : Salt Lake City - roomfortuesday.comThese Pottery Barn beds have a really nice simplistic form, and I think they’d be perfect in a mountain cabin or lake house around these parts! Antique Dining Table

Custom Pleated Drapery

Facebook Marketplace Finds : Salt Lake City - roomfortuesday.comLast, but not least- custom drapery! There are actually a lot of drapery panels up for grabs in this house, but I liked this timeless, solid pinch pleat set best. They also look like a standard height, but you could easily hem these to fit your window. What a deal!

  1. Good morning! Nothing like a virtual shopping trip to kickstart the weekend. And what great finds! I actually love both dining sets. That oak checkerboard top is BANANAS, and leaves that hide/slide like that are my favorite. That sideboard is also a “yes!” for me. Would that be a Hepplewwhite style? Whatever it is, I am into the curvy front plus boxy feet, and I would relish the challenge of finding a key to open the middle section. Ha. Does your dining room vision include a sideboard? No need to convince me on the Ethan Allen chair and ottoman; that’s got reading spot written all over it! I wouldn’t even mind that upholstery…if it was in one of the bedrooms of my (imaginary) Maine summer camp. That massive coffee table though? That wins top prize for me! So many incredible details, and SO cheap! If that was in my area, I would be running around my house with a tape measure desperately wishing my rooms were bigger. In the meantime, I’ll just stick to mentally designing rooms around furniture I won’t buy! Cheers to Pizza Friday, friends! We’ve got our typical low key plans (none), but I might be gaining momentum for tackling some pesky inside projects. Fingers crossed. Here’s wishing you lots of progress on the camper and the entry!
PS Super giveaway! All the gift sets you’ve assembled are inspired and beautiful!💜🍕

    1. Nothing like a good scroll session of FBMP! Can you believe that checkered oak top?! I’m very tempted to go pickup that sideboard. I wish I had a place for it. Not having a key to that would drive Emmett crazy though. Lol! I also thought the chair & ottoman combo would make the perfect spot for lounging and reading. I wish I could fit that massive coffee table someplace in our house, but all of our rooms are too small for that big thing. I love it though! I hope you had an amazing weekend. I’m playing catchup today after a busy weekend working. Fingers crossed someone here in the comment section snags the pizza gift set :) Jordan is randomly selecting our winner tomorrow! xo

  2. Ashleigh Mathew says:

Would love one of these for Raleigh/Durham NC!

    1. You got it, Ashleigh! I added Raleigh to my list.

  3. What a morning for amazing finds! The vintage dining set is now sold, but wow, that ticking stripe upholstery is the perfect touch. I’m also swooning over the coffee table; styling extravaganza anyone?! What a stunner. I need a round one like this, ha! I’m shocked that the price of the chandelier is so low. This one stopped me in my tracks- what a beauty. I love the curvy details, the round finials, and the simple black shades. The sideboard is equally gorgeous. I love this style! I’m hoping saving that one gives me all the good vibes I need to find something similar that could function as a tv stand. The final dining table is 😱😱. I actually love the way it looks as is, but clearly it needs a little love. Those hidden leafs are perfect. My current dining table looks to have hidden leafs like this, but I’ve never been able to figure out how to use them. The drapery panels are equally swoon worthy. I’ve never thought to search for that; now I’m going to be hunting, lol. What a lovely giveaway Sarah, and so thoughtful. Your gifting bundles are such a sweet touch; hello pizza Friday!! I can’t wait to catch up this afternoon. Have a wonderful day! Xo

    1. That dining set sold quickly! I love those ticking stripe chairs. That coffee table would be SO fun to style. I dream of having space for a big table like that. The chandelier was another good find- I wish I had a place for it. Crossing my fingers one of you wins the pizza giveaway- Jordan is randomly choosing the winner tomorrow :) I’ll keep everyone posted! xo

  4. I love these posts! I’m with you, I love spaces with matching double or even twin beds. So cute! I’m itching for a Facebook Marketplace score. My last one was in March. I got a Herman Miller Sayl chair for $300. They retail for $800! It has really improved my WFH setup!

    1. I love hearing that, Brittany! They’re fun for me, too. I would love to design a room with double beds someday. I feel like a cabin or cottage is the perfect place for those. What a steal on your Herman Miller chair- amazing find!!

  5. I love these FB Marketplace finds!

    1. Thanks, Susanne! These posts are so fun. I’m always scrolling FBMP :)

  6. Good stuff in your search! When I saw that your were doing SL I was hoping you found a marble pastry table. Still crossing fingers for you. The RV cabinet color came out so nice. I too am impatient and want a quick dry to get it in and start decorating.
I am on the hunt for a dresser that will fit in our son’s closet today. Goodwill and Thrift Stores are on my list first. If unsuccessful, I hope to score one on FBMP. So crazy that neither my mother or MIL have one that would work. Wish me luck!
Happy pizza friday! It is going to be HOT & dry here too! Oh, quick question. If I am signed up on your shop, how do you get discount? Does it automatically recognize you? Forgive me if it’s obvious and I am just challenged. Appreciate you.

    1. Thanks, Danna! I have yet to find a pretty marble pastry table, but I’m not giving up. It is definitely testing my patience. Ha! Did you have any luck during your thrifting adventure in finding a dresser that fit into your son’s closet? I hope so! I hope you had an amazing weekend. As for the discount… yes, exactly! It’s one per customer. If you have yet to use the 15% off code, you can re-enter your email in the signup section and it will generate a code for you (since you’re on the list). Let me know if you need help :) xo

  7. Since you’re taking requests, can I add Missoula, MT to your list for future posts? Please and thank you! :)

    1. Most, definitely! Missoula is on my list :)

  8. The sideboard is to die for! I’d be excited to see a search for Greenville, SC.

    1. I feel like I should go pick it up- I just don’t have a place for it. Ha! I’ll add Greenville to my list :)

  9. Lexie Rich says:

Hi there! I love searching through your curated FB marketplace finds! I’ve gone through every city’s blog post you’ve done so far and saved all the items that caught my eye to try to create a tailored algorithm for my own city! I’m wondering if you would be able to do areas of NY outside of the city! I’m in the Syracuse area, but would be willing to drive towards Binghamton, Rochester or Buffalo to find a gem! Thanks for your time!
    -Lexie

    1. I’m so glad to hear that, Lexie! I’ll add those cities to my list- thank you for sharing!
