TGIF!! Onto the next classic cocktail, one of my favorites: the French75! With only five ingredients, you can shake this one up in a hurry. It’s perfect for last minute holiday parties or gatherings and looks super elegant.
French75
Ingredients (makes 1 cocktail):
1 oz. cognac
1 oz. simple syrup
3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
champagne
lemon rind, for garnish
Instructions:
Shake the cognac, lemon juice and sugar with ice. Strain into a flute and top with champagne. Garnish each flute with a lemon peel.
What are your go-to party cocktails? I found a book that includes a ton of my favorites. Vintage cocktails is definitely a book you’ll want to keep in your kitchen or bar.
