Holiday Style on a Budget

The holidays bring many parties and events, leaving you with the question of what to wear. This season I am loving festive sweater dresses like this one. There is something about the Christmas season that makes me want to add a little sparkle to my wardrobe (without over-doing it, of course). This option screams New Years Eve to me. Whether you are celebrating with friends at a party, or simply going out to a nice dinner, a shimmery dress is sure to ring in the New Year right!

Some say plaid should only be used in fall, but I obviously don’t agree. I wore this plaid peplum dress last Christmas and received so many compliments. For added warmth, pair with a fur vest like this one. Although the peplum dress is no longer available, I also love this style (which is currently on sale)!

I love the idea of going the non-traditional route for holiday parties. This jumpsuit is unique and unexpected, while at the same time so chic. Pair with simple pointed heels and a red lip for the perfect pop of color.
