Home Tour : Simple & Sophisticated

Looking into Dining Room It’s easy to get in a rut this time of year. Winter tends to drag on and sometimes it can be a less than inspiring season, but it’s times like this- when we find an insane (in an amazing way) house tour that fuels our creativity! This home designed by the incredible Kate Marker is one for the books. It’s airy, perfectly balanced, and uber sophisticated. Let’s just say, we’d move in any day!

Dining Room The dining room might be one of my favorite spaces throughout this tour. I’m a sucker for shaker style chair rails and symmetry. The round table weighted by modern velvet dining chairs center the room perfectly. We also have to talk about that chandelier! The shape, the texture, the color, and the cascading effect draws your eye downward, and are all part of the appeal.
