This month’s moodboard has me dreaming of blue skies, beaches, sunshine, and sand… I’ve gathered my favorite summer stripes and just because you don’t have a beach house retreat or vacation planned, doesn’t mean you can’t bring the summer vibe into your home. As I previously mentioned in this post, I love swapping out of my bedding for summer to lighten a room. Although we live in the mountains and not even remotely close to a beach, I’m into the fact that our bedroom feels light, fresh, and seasonally appropriate. The addition of stripes is classic, timeless, and brings in the summer vibe effortlessly. Check out my favorite blue hues and stripes this month in the roundup below…

Honestly, if we can ever afford a second home or get into the industry of rentals, I’d love to transform a beach cottage. That’s always been a dream of mine! Based on the roundup above, I think it’s pretty obvious that I’d go the traditional, blue-hued classic route when decorating.
Grace & Frankie is one of my all-time favorite tv series, and every time I see the beach house set I admire how perfect it is. It’s just SO dreamy- both the interior and exterior have me smitten. Maybe someday.
