Labor Day Sales & Home Finds

Labor Day Sales & Home Finds - roomfortuesday.comHappy Thursday! We’re almost to the long weekend and I’ve been having fun curating home deals. The majority of retailers are having major sales this weekend for Labor Day, so I thought it may be helpful to roundup a few of my favorite home finds, if you’re trying to snag some things and take advantage of deals. Consider this my master Labor Day sale list. Click through for a big post of sales- and to shop my favorites going into the weekend holiday weekend. I hope it’s helpful and saves you some time & money if you’re searching for something specific or plan to shop online this weekend!

Labor Day Sales & Home Finds - roomfortuesday.comBefore I dive into the big retailer list, my friend Susan (of SWD Studio) passed along a special code for my friends and readers… so sweet of her! Today through Monday, you can use code ROOMFORTUESDAY15 for 15% off all purchases… no minimum necessary! She already offers free shipping on orders over $250 to the US & Canada- and there is no code needed for that. I wanted to pass along the savings, in case any of you are in the market for new pillows! Hers are so beautiful and high quality. They can be seen in our formal living room. I have this beautiful nutmeg colored one (pictured), this leopard one (also pictured above), and this color blocked lumbar.

  1. The days are such a blur right now that I just realized it’s a long weekend. I definitely need to spend all the time outside and moving! Perusing some of the sales could be a fun distraction, too. Have an amazing weekend, friend!😎💜

    1. Right? I can’t keep track either. I feel like this year has been a blur… how are we already in September?! We’re hoping to get outside this weekend too- hike or ride in the mountains, tackle some landscaping that needs attention, tidy up the garden, AND pizza Friday is happening al fresco tonight. It took us wayyy too long to discover cornmeal for the bottom of our pizza crust (so it doesn’t get stuck), allowing us to cook it in the smoker- like a pizza oven. Hope you have a wonderful and relaxing long weekend :) xo

  2. Great round-up! I’ve been trying to buy an upholstered headboard for my guest(less) room since May. First I ordered from Wayfair, and after ten week of delays I canceled. Then mid-July I picked one from One King’s Lane (actually, it looks just like that blue arched upholstered headboard but in a rose-pink fabric)…it finally arrived very end of August AND….they shipped the wrong thing. Ugh! They shipped the bed FRAME. They are sending the headboard (2-3 weeks), and said I can keep the frame (which is the right one for the headboard), which is cool I guess. I’ve been working on the guest(less) room re-design for so long now, and this last piece is such a hold-up! Once I get the headboard in the space, I can work on the bedding and finish a few other things, and finally be done. You know for all those guests we have right now, LOL/not funny. :)

    1. Thanks Karen! I feel you on the bed / headboard situation. I’m kind of in the same boat… so frustrating. I ordered one for our guest room, it got backordered, it finally arrived in the wrong size, I sent it back, and decided I’d just DIY my own (I still need to do that before we wrap up the renovation). The struggle! At least you’re getting to keep the frame- that’s great customer service on their part. Our guest room renovation has been dragging on forever, so I can totally relate to this. We’ll cross the finish line eventually. Hah! I miss having lots of house guests like we normally do. Have a great weekend!!

  3. I’ve been able to get approximately ZERO accomplished in the bathroom between distance learning and PTA. This weekend I’m hoping to get back at it, finish up some of the retouches on the vanity, make final decisions on hardware and lighting, and possibly snag some new plumbing fixtures for the shower and tub while they’re on sale. It feels like I’ve been shopping in vain because even though I’m close, it doesn’t feel like I am…*sigh* Home takes time right?! I doubt I’ll spend much time outside. Sadly it’s set to be 114 this weekend…you can find me melting along with my trash cans, lol. I love all the items in the sale, but those minimal shower dispensers from Anthro are to die for!!! You may have sent me down a rabbit hole. HaHa! Cheers to a long weekend friends! XO

    1. I can’t imagine- you have a LOT on your plate Lauren! The bathroom will be ready for you when you have time- but wishing you a fun, relaxing, and productive long weekend making the final decisions (fingers crossed you find some good deals)! Home definitely takes time and it’s always worth the wait. 114?!! We got a taste of cooler weather this week, but this weekend it’s back in the upper 80s and 90s for us. Now I feel bad complaining. Haha! I have those minimal shower dispensers in our basement bath and love them (I just tested them last night for the first time, lol). Happy Friday and cheers the holiday weekend :) xo

      1. Ok…product review time! Lol! Do they work?? Or are they the type that are beautiful but not practical? My main concern is the conditioner dispenser. Lol. And…where do you store the leftovers if it completely fills the bottles and there’s more in the original?? All the tips…lol

        1. They work great!! We also have some Amazon dispensers in our guest bathroom and those work well, too. Equally as functional and beautiful- if you’re looking for a second option. The containers fit an entire standard size bottle of product, but if I ever buy the large sizes or in bulk- I just keep the excess in the vanity cabinet or in the linen closet for easy refilling access :)

    Hi Sarah,
Where is the grey sort of viscose looking rug from in this post picture?
