In a recent interview with Aileen from At Home in Love, I was asked what type of design trends I’m currently liking. After responding that I would like my next big project to be something involving slab wood, I decided to round up some inspiration:

A slab can really warm up a modern space; I also love the organic shape of a live edge. Ideally I would like to find a space in our master bedroom or living room to introduce an interesting slab of wood. Luckily, I already have a meeting with a local woodworker in my calendar!
