Today’s post was going to be an amazing furniture roundup (don’t worry- it’s coming tomorrow), but- I ended up delaying my flight home from Arizona to stay an extra day to finish Laurie Anne’s bedroom makeover, sooo I’m writing this post from her computer. Things took a lot longer than we anticipated, so I needed an extra day to photograph everything. Long story short- today’s Noteworthy post is a tiny update, life happenings, our next projects, inspiring links, and more! Click through to read…

For those of you wondering, Laurie Anne’s bedroom reveal will go live later this month. It turned out SO good and I can’t wait to share! We overhauled her bedroom and refreshed the attached master bath. I have really enjoyed staying in her newly renovated guest suite (pictured above) and am sad we don’t have more time to hangout and have fun. It has really been non stop work- but now she has a beautiful master bedroom to show for it, so it’s all good. I can’t give away too much, but I’ll link a few things we added to the space: this bench, these nightstands, and this shower set.

We did take a time out to go watch a movie and have dinner. We watched this movie and had dinner at this incredible restaurant in Phoenix. She was also gearing up for her big studio sale… if you’re in need of art- check it out here!

Back at home, Emmett is about to start demo on our dining room. We decided to go ahead and tackle the dining space and formal living room, which opens into the kitchen. Since we’ve been installing our herringbone hardwood floors one room at a time, it made since to go ahead and finish those two rooms after having just finished the kitchen. Next on the agenda is my office. It HAS to happen. We also ordered a new front door (exciting!), more on that coming soon. Basically, instead of our intended break- we have lots of upcoming and happening projects. Haha! We always do this. We just can’t quit.

I would reaaaallly like to have ice cream here. PS. Ice cream & gelato is my favorite dessert (year round). Anyone else?

My friends Catherine & Bryan just renovated their kitchen and it has a similar to vibe to mine… obviously I’m loving it! Dark and moody for the win.

I recently made over a friend’s nursery and I can’t wait to share that reveal next week- it is the cutest! I’ve had so many fun projects lately and opportunities to help my close friends. I love just that. Remember my Humane Society makeover? That one is still my favorite.

I’ve had window treatments on the brain, and I’ve been saving all of my ideas and inspiration here. Speaking of- I found some super affordable pinch pleat drapery panels here, I’m thinking about getting some to see how they look in person. What is your go-to source for pleated drapery?

I finally got a canopy bed for one of our guest rooms! I’ll have to show you once it’s set up.

Have you checked out my Amazon storefront? I’ve been updating it! From camping gear to interior items- that’s where I have been saving my favorite things. Anything I should add to the list? Let me know!

Alright, I’m out of here to go photograph the bedroom and catch my flight. Thanks for being patient while I’ve been traveling and working so much. I’m eager to get back into my regular routine. I’ll be back to chat tomorrow about my new favorite furniture trend- and also share the new sofa I bought!

Sarah, you sure keep busy! I’m exhausted by just reading what all you accomplish! It’s so inspiring to me so I just follow along and I am so appreciative of you sharing your creativity with full transparency. You are a mentor of art and design. Thanks also for introducing your megatalented artist friend Laurie Anne in this post. Will have to follow her art as well.
