Spring Break Packing List

IMG_3419

One of the many perks of being a teacher is continuing to have a spring break every year. This year Dan and I are packing our bags and heading to the beach with his side of the family and we could not be more excited! We are headed to Anna Maria Island – I have never been there before, but I’ve heard only great things about it. While we are there we will be doing lots of beaching, sun-bathing, swimming and eating. Although a trip to the beach tends to be a pretty laid back vacation, I always have my essentials packed and ready to go! Read below for some of the items I will be packing in my suitcase.

Beach Vacation Essentials

-Swimsuits – as many as you think you may wear!
-Sunglasses – since I am always losing these, I usually pack an extra pair or two.
-Sun hat – for added SPF protection. Plus, oh so stylish!
-Beach cover up – choose something light, airy, and easy to take on and off.
-Sundresses – a beach vacation MUST in my book!
-Rompers/Jumpsuits – these are adorable for dinners out at night and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
-Jean shorts – easy to throw on every day.
-Reading material – to me, there is nothing better than laying on the beach or by the pool with your nose stuck in a good book. This year I will be reading Girl on the Train and #GIRLBOSS (two that have been on my list for quite some time).
-Sunscreen – for obvious reasons. I am a huge fan of Australian Gold.
-Beach tote – something large that you don’t mind getting sandy.
