The Best of H&M Home

The Best of H&M Home - roomfortuesday.comSomehow an entire year(?!) slipped by without me posting H&M Home favorites. This shopping series was always a favorite of mine and H&M remains an awesome, budget-friendly, go-to resource for me, so I figured it was time to revive it. I’m always impressed with their new products, and since I’ve had more time to scroll lately- I figured it was worth sharing my fall and winter favorites! I like a lot of their basic staples, like the cotton towels pictured above. Click through for my finds and a quick little shopping post, if you’re curious to see what’s new…

The Best of H&M Home - roomfortuesday.comI’ve been especially impressed with their bath section. I already mentioned their bath towels that come in a variety of colors, but they also have beautiful trays, organizers, soap dishes & pumps, bath mats, hampers, robes, and even some shower curtains. They’re all very neutral and would blend easily with any aesthetic.

The Best of H&M Home - roomfortuesday.comMy favorite thing to scour H&M Home for is budget-friendly decor and styling items. They have plenty of interesting objects, candle holders, trays, and trinkets. It’s an easy way to get a designer look or try a trend without breaking the bank. Let me show you what I found this time!

I love the marble ball for styling (#1), the classic laundry basket (#5) for tucking into closets or corners, you already know I’m a fan of flannel bedding (#7) in the fall & winter, the tassel tiebacks (#10) are an easy addition to furniture or doorknobs, the glass candle holder (#11) would be beautiful styled on a coffee table, the brass pedestal tray (#14) could be used for so many things, and I’m always stocking up on tea towels and linen napkins (#16) to pair with a candle or soap as an inexpensive, impressive gift. I have an entire cabinet full of those items for fast gifting opportunities.

The Best of H&M Home - roomfortuesday.comI’ve also found H&M to be a great resource for entertaining items and kitchenware. I’ve purchased everything from cocktail napkins to plates, bowls, and glassware from them in the past. You can’t beat the price on their cutting boards either! I have a couple of those that I use often for small cheese and charcuterie servings.

The Best of H&M Home - roomfortuesday.comHave you ever shopped at H&M for home items? It’s probably not the first place you would think to browse, but I’ve been very happy with all of my interior purchases from them! They quickly moved to the top of my resource list- especially for practical items and styling objects. I hope you enjoyed this little shopping post and are having a good week. I’ve been busy hosting my in-laws, but they’re scheduled to go home this evening. It has been so wonderful sharing meals and hosting family, but I’m excited to get back into my regular routine tomorrow. Happy Wednesday, friends! PS: how is this the last day of September?! This month always goes too fast.

  1. Good morning! You certainly have a gift for curating the prettiest round ups. Those smoky, ribbed glass vessels are so pretty! And I never tire of looking at tabletop wares- bring on the candle holders and tapers! (Of course I’m not already thinking about Thanksgiving. That would be weird.😉) The end of September? I continue to marvel at the strangeness of this year. With all my milestones gone, I feel a little lost in time. I might be getting better at being in the moment, so there’s that.
Anyway, sorry for the birdwalk! Enjoy every last minute of your family time! Then, birthday month!💜

    1. Roundups are really fun for me! I could virtually shop and moodboard all day! I’m definitely already thinking about Thanksgiving, so I can relate. Ha! This will be the first time we’ve had a dining table in our home during the holiday and I’m ready to deck it out with pretty tableware and candles- even if it’s just Emmett & I, or a couple friends. It has definitely been an odd year, to say the least. I’m with you on getting better at living in the moment… so cheers to that. Woohoo for October! I’ll be baking all the treats and testing all the festive fall food. Happy Wednesday, Peggi :)

  2. Woot woot!! Bring on birthday month!! I can’t wait! It’s been a strange year, and I’ve found that I’m anxiously anticipating the holiday season (and birthday season for my family), because I need something to celebrate. I’ve never shopped H&M home, but I’ll be scouting their site for cushion covers! I love changing the looks of our home to go with the season, but I always try to make purchases that do t require much in the way of storage. Cushion covers are the perfect option, but man they are hard to come by at larger stores! I’m excited to give H&M a try! So many cute styling items in this roundup! Thanks for sharing Sarah! I’m so glad you were able to thoroughly enjoy family time! Have a wonderful rest of the week!

    1. Right? I feel the same way. I’m excited to celebrate allll the things (and surviving this year). Ha! H&M is an awesome resource for cushions covers- I have a few from them :) Let me know what you think if you try any! They definitely fit the budget. Hope you’re having an awesome week, Lauren! xo

  3. I adore H&M Home and I just bought #8 and #14 (cool for Christmas time) we have a few kitchen supplies and decor, even bathrobe for my kid – she loves it. We had also runners in our last home (and you could wash them – great with kid and 2 dogs 😉), I also like their cushion covers – I have “a few” of them. For me Zara Home is similar maybe a bit more expensive and their bedding sets are classic.

    1. I love both of those, Kinga! Great info to know about washing the rugs. I noticed they were 100% cotton, which I really liked. I echo your thoughts on Zara Home and their bedding sets. Lots of great options! Have a great day :)

  4. I completely forgot about H&M home decor. You have some beautiful finds in your mood board. That rug would be pretty in a bath. I’ve noticed tassels are coming back and I like it! I cannot get enough cutting boards or kitchen towels.
Glad you had a good visit with your family. I am sure they were blown away by the beauty of your home! Have a great day!

    1. They have some great stuff! I love a good tassel, too :) We’re in the same boat with kitchen towels, cutting boards, … oh- and candles! It was really nice to have them here. Thanks so much for your sweet words, Danna. Happy Wednesday! xo

  5. Jennifer K. says:

I’m obsessed with H&M Home cushions covers! I’ve bought many over the past several years and the quality is so good and the price point is…well…on point! I did recently splurge on this pillow (https://www2.hm.com/en_us/productpage.0756151001.html) since we’re getting ready to move to Kentucky and I knew it would be perfect on the guest bed! Once it arrived I had zero regrets! Thanks for sharing some other fun H&M Home finds :o)

    1. They really are good! I wanted that horse pillow, got busy, and forgot about it!! Is it beautiful in person? Congratulations on your move to Kentucky, Jennifer. You probably have noticed horse decor and art scattered throughout my home (I’m from Kentucky and my parents still live there). It’s a beautiful state.

  6. I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your visit with family (I’m jealous)! I sometimes forget about H&M for home stuff, thanks for the reminder. They are a great source for pillow covers. Have you ever shopped Zara Home? I just placed an order for a bathroom refresh and I’m curious about the quality.

    1. Thank you, Melissa! We really had the best time. It was SO nice to see them. H&M is an awesome resource! I feel like it’s not the first place people think to look, but lately it’s been high on my radar. I also love Zara Home! It’s very similar to H&M- if anything, I think the quality might be bit better… especially for textiles. Happy Friday to you!! xo
