Tuesday Made Lighting Collection

Tuesday Made Lighting Collection - roomfortuesday.comI hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I’ve got an exciting blog post to share with you today! I’ve highlighted many posts over the years on one of my favorite design topics: lighting. It’s one of those design elements that can really make or break a room, and there’s nothing I love more in a space (well maybe an antique piece), than a gorgeous light fixture. I think lighting is actually one of my stronger skills as a designer, and if you’ve ever wondered what fixtures I’d choose- you can now find a giant curated collection in the Tuesday Made shop! My goal for the shop has always been to provide friends and readers access to designer items, unique & handmade decor, as well as one-of-a-kind vintage goods. This feels like a big win for our little team and I’ve been really excited to share it with you. I wanted to roundup a handful of favorite fixtures in this post and announce our newest collection here first. Click through to check it out, and be sure to hop over to our shop site and scroll through them all…

Tuesday Made Lighting Collection - roomfortuesday.comIt’s no secret that I’m passionate about lighting. As a designer, I’ve loved spending this past year researching, scrolling, chatting with lighting designers, and visiting showrooms to decide which fixtures I wanted to include in our shop. It was a big decision!

I think we landed on a beautifully curated collection filled with classic, timeless, and well-designed fixtures that are sure to withstand the test of time, proving their longevity.

Tuesday Made Lighting Collection - roomfortuesday.comI’ve vetted all these fixtures myself- I’ve seen each one in person, have many of them installed throughout my own home, and can attest to their aesthetic and quality. Aside from vintage rugs, I’m certain this is my second favorite collection in our shop! I’ve actually already ordered some new fixtures for our house that have me excited about upcoming projects. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Let’s dive in…

I thought I’d drop my top three picks from each category below, to give you a taste of what you can find in the shop, should you ever be in the market for lighting. We now offer the following fixture types:

You can click on each image to be redirected to that specific lighting category, if you’d like. Feel free to explore and click around!

Tuesday Made Lighting Collection - roomfortuesday.comYou probably recognize the Lancaster lamp from sneak peeks of my home office I’ve shared, or the Holly picture lights installed on my living room built-ins- along with the Curves floor lamp in that same space. I might have splurged for the Windsor chandelier designed by Mark D. Sikes for our entryway. I love our Marcel chandelier, but the traditional shape of the Windsor just felt like it belonged in our home. Emmett is going to be thrilled to swap that (definitely joking, ha). It will still feel light and airy with the white plaster / gesso finish, but the shape better complements our architecture and aesthetic.

Tuesday Made Lighting Collection - roomfortuesday.comI get a LOT of lighting questions, and I always try to share my lighting design knowledge with those who ask. If you’d like to see more posts on this topic, I’ll link some previous posts from the archives below…

If you have any lighting questions for me, would like product recommendations, or are curious about our new lighting collection– please drop me a note in the comment section below. I’m always happy to help and am really proud that we’re kicking off the year with this exciting new collection! It has been a lot of work and a long time coming, but I’m thrilled to finally share my love for beautiful light fixtures with everyone through our shop. Thank you again for being so supportive of Tuesday Made and my small business- it truly means so much. I hope you’ll keep us in mind for future remodeling and lighting projects! Cheers to a great week ahead, friends.

  1. Good morning! Wowza and a hearty congratulations!! What a stunning (and extensive) collection! Beautiful light fixtures can definitely make a space, but oof there’s so much to consider! Your expert curation and advice is invaluable! One category I generally find lackluster is floor lamps, but your choices are stellar! I especially adore the Brera and the Stanton. Another class of fixtures I drool over is sconces; I long to find a perfect spot in my home to install a pair! From your offerings, I would happily own the Marcel, the La Brea, the Cate, the Curves, the Chisel, the Cohasset, the Ripley and the Jasper. Bahaha. See? Obsessed with sconces. You really have assembled a comprehensive assortment of timeless pieces. Your investment of time, knowledge and passion shines through this newest expansion at Tuesday Made! You are a wonder!! Happiest of Mondays to you, Sarah.💜🔥

    1. Good morning, Peggi! Thank you, and thank you for the early text this morning :) I appreciate you so much. I wanted to curate a collection that was really well made, unique, and of a variety of price points & finishes. I think we ended up in a great spot. I can’t wait to install some new lights in our house for upcoming projects! The La Brea sconce is stunning in person. I thought about ordering a pair of those for our basement when the time comes to full on renovate, and of course all the ones designed by Mark D. Sikes are instant favorites. Thank you again for being so enthusiastic with me. You made my day :) PS: after everything that happened last week, I neglected to drop your package off, so I’m going to do that tmrw. Sorry it’s taking me a bit. I have not been on top of things here are home these past few weeks. Whew! Hope you had a good Monday! xo

  2. Congrats on your new lighting collection Sarah 🥳 so fun! I’m in need of outdoor sconces for our home in Canada so I’ll definitely check out the full collection 😍 The Worth pendant is gorgeous! Wowza 🤩 Two of those would be stunning over a kitchen island ❤️
The Letti flush mount is a stunner too. I love the shape on that one. Exciting! I know you are passionate about lighting so adding a collection to the shop makes so much sense.
How fun was it to select and curate? You were in your element I’m sure 😝 I’m so happy for this big step in your business 👍🥂🥳 Fabulous! And Yay!
Cheers to beautiful lighting and making life much brighter 💖 😜 Great start to Monday!

    1. Thank you, Colleen! The outdoor fixtures are actually some of my favorites in the collection. I’m trying to convince Emmett to let me swap all of our porch lights (hah!)… you know, for the sake of “marketing photos”. Lol! He’s not buying it… yet. They’re just so beautiful in person! I *almost* bought the Worth pendant for our dining room because the brass canopy is so cool, but landed on the Sphere instead. I truly had the best time curating, visiting showrooms, researching, and ultimately deciding what quality & aesthetic of lighting we should carry. I’m really happy with where we landed. Thanks for sharing in our excitement. You’re such a sweet friend and I appreciate your kind words. I hope you have a lovely, sun-filled week ahead! xo

  3. Congratulations on launching this collection, Sarah! Your choices are beautiful! I know I will look here first next time I need a new light.

    1. Thank you so much, Hannah! I really appreciate it. Definitely let me know if you ever need a design opinion on lighting… always happy to help :) Especially now that we have a great resource!

  4. This is better than Christmas morning! Congratulations on this huge step for Tuesday Made. Each fixture you’ve selected is exquisite and showcases both the classic and the unexpected that we’ve come to adore-you’ve done such a fantastic job Sarah!
The Sphere, Worth, and Burdette are my favorites of the pendant collection. I can see Burdette looking particularly gorgeous over a breakfast nook. Letti is my favorite of the flush mounts, and this exact shape is what I’m wanting in my primary bath. Is this one damp rated? The Curves, Classic and Devon are the top contenders for table lamps-but I’ll say I can’t resist those adorable feet on the Curves and the Classic. 😍 The Jasper and the Classic chandeliers are standouts. I’m so in love with the Classic that I may have to budget that into the office renovation-we need to replace the chandelier that’s currently in use and this one, in either finish, would be stunning. The Curves and the Weaver are amazing floor lamps-I particularly enjoy the Weaver. Right up my alley. I’m paying close attention to the picture lights section for our upcoming built-ins. I’m partial to the Holly, but really love the Hampshire as well. The Harper Double, Covington, and Mclean are all sconces I could see in the various bathrooms in our home. The Covington has such a unique shape; really loving the mushroom dome on this one. Although I browsed every section, these are the ones I found easiest to select favorites from-perhaps because I’m currently shopping for them, haha! All the fixtures you’ve chosen are wonderful. I can’t wait to shop Tuesday Made for our upcoming lighting. Cheers friend! To the newest shop adventure, and to you! Congratulations again Sarah. I know this was a huge goal for you. Happy Monday friend!

    1. Awww, you made my day Lauren! Thank you so much! It has been a ton of work, but SO much fun. This is the part of my job that gets me excited. Of course you picked all my favorites. I ordered a variation of the Sphere for our dining room, so that space is going to happen sometime this year! The Letti flush mount is a favorite of mine as well. It’s not damp rated, but as long as you have proper ventilation- it should be great. I wouldn’t install it in a shower, but over a soaking tub or vanity- it would be totally fine. The Weaver floor lamp in person is bananas!! I’m trying to figure out where to put that and budget for it because it’s just so cool and unique (and it’s giant). Those little brass feet are the best. Emmett calls the Covington the mushroom sconce (lol!), so he’s going to love your comment. Anyway, I so appreciate how enthused you are for us. Our little team has been working hard and we pulled a late night on Saturday to finish it up. Thanks for your shared excitement and continued support, Lauren! You’re the best and I appreciate you! Have an awesome day. xox

  5. Wow! In particular that white picture light is absolutely stunning.

    1. Thanks, Dawn! I love that one! We have three of them installed on our living room built-ins. They come as plug-in fixtures, but can also be hardwired. We hardwired them (I had a few people ask). Have a great week!

  6. Wowza! Congratulations on all the new lighting! My mouth is watering at all the choices. They are all soooo gorgeous!!! You have always been one to find and include beautiful lighting in your home. I cannot wait till I can include several or more of yours in our new home.
Again, congrats on the launch. I need to let my friend know about them.

    1. Thank you so much, Danna! We are super excited! It has me excited for future projects here at home. I hope you had an awesome Monday! xo
