Best of Etsy : Coffee Mugs

Best of Etsy : Coffee Mugs - roomfortuesday.comIt’s time for the monthly Best of Etsy post! I absolutely love compiling these and I hope you guys still enjoy reading them. We’ve had cooler weather roll into Salt Lake City this week and it actually snowed at higher altitude in the mountains (crazy, I know). This weather has me reaching for all the fall things… sweaters, boots, blankets, and definitely a lot of hot coffee and tea. There is nothing I love more in the morning than a pretty hand thrown mug filled with coffee- or a cup of joe in a cheeky mug. This month, I’ve rounded up 30+ insanely gorgeous coffee mugs that are more like pieces of art. Click through to see what I found. Your coffee or hot cocoa bar will thank you!

Aren’t those beautiful?! My personal favorites include number 1, 12, 19, 26, and 27. I love my vintage green espresso set pictured above in the intro images, but it really clashes with our new kitchen cabinetry. I’ve been thinking of swapping them out for a different set.

Best of Etsy : Coffee Mugs - roomfortuesday.comNow that we have floating shelves to display our coffee and espresso mugs in our new kitchen, I thought it could be kind of cool to add more personality to this vignette with hand thrown pieces or mugs with more texture or color.

Best of Etsy : Coffee Mugs - roomfortuesday.comWhile I love our classic dishes, I think adding some special pieces to this area would put a smile on my face each morning.

Best of Etsy : Coffee Mugs - roomfortuesday.comWith fall officially around the corner and the holiday season shortly after, I’m already dreaming up this year’s hot cocoa bar! I would love to have some new gorgeous mugs before then. Who else has an elaborate coffee bar? Do you also enjoy collecting mugs? If so- I’d love to hear what kind!

  1. Lovely selection! Since I must limit myself to one cup a day (stomach ☹️), I need a vessel of considerable size! As a teacher, I have a pretty steady supply of mugs…so I rarely buy them for myself. I think you, however, definitely need some beautiful new handmade wares to grace your shelves! Easy has so many beautiful options; how to choose? Happy Friday!
PS A beautiful painting on your Pinterest feed just caught my attention, and many of her paintings are of Maine! Made me homesick.

    1. Thanks Peggi! Awww… happy you discovered a new artists and beautiful paintings, but said to hear it made you homesick! Hope you have a happy Friday and a wonderful weekend :)

  2. These are awesome! I did amateur ceramics a bit so I have an affinity for anything handmade pottery, but I also am very picky about the shape, proportions, and inner angle of my mugs that I actually use on a regular basis. A couple of these are going on my wishlist.

    1. So happy you like them Julie!!

  3. Everything looks lovely. Could you share cabinet color? Thank you

    1. Thank you, Teresa! The cabinet color is custom- I’m sorry. I wish I had a swatch number for you, but I mixed it in the shop.

I don’t have a coffee bar but I do have a few un-matched Christmas mugs that I purchased several years ago. I use one several times a week for my coffee or hot tea. I like the heavy mugs-they hold more lol. You have a lot of nice choices listed in your blog. Thanks
